Poly 2013

Rio Rancho, NM(Zone 7b)

Mike, I don't know how or why you get all those polys! I have checked and checked my daylilys and the only ones that are polys, are the ones that were bred to do so, like in Doubles. LOL

I do think I might have a couple of proliferations though. I just don't know for sure what to look for. HELP???

Linda, look for more than the usual three petals and three sepals. I go to bed wishing for polys the next day. LOL!! There is no rhyme or reason. I guess it just happen. Chief Four Fingers poly this morning. Will post a pic later.

Mike, does your chief have a high percentage of polys? I'd say ours is only about 50%.

Don CFF was planted late spring of 2012. I had a few blooms with polys last year. It is still a small plant. Too soon to evaluate here

Here is a reliable high percentage polymerous flower called 'Counter-Terrorist'. It is also an easy pod setter.

H. 'Status Update' was phenomenal this year as a high percentage polymerous cultivar and proved to be a great pod setter despite the high heat and humidity.
