I acquired two Lobelia siphilitica plants at plant exchanges in the last several weeks, from different sources. The plants look quite similar except one has quite jagged edges on its leaves, and the other doesn't. They aren't in bloom yet. Any idea what I might have gotten?
Lobelia siphilitica
Funny you should mention that. I'm always digging up lobelia siphilitica that has seeded itself all around my garden, and just yesterday I noticed that one of the plants I had potted had jagged leaves instead of the usual non-jagged ones. I wondered if was a different lobelia that had seeded itself, though the others don't usually. I can't answer your question. I'm just going to wait til it flowers to see if it's different or not.
I'll do the same! Thanks for chiming in!
You're very welcome.
