What kind of lily is this?

Dewey, AZ(Zone 7a)

I pulled these from a rent house we were renovating, stuck in in our beds at home and they flourished. I put them in pots this Feb. for the transpo, gave them a little more sun than they had, and they're all blooming like crazy. Any help with an ID, please? Once they multiply enough in the new place, I can add them to my trade list in small doses.

If I don't respond right away with thanks, it's because we're painting and moving this week. But thank you in advance!

That leafless stem says it is a member of the Amaryllis family, not a lily. I think it's a crinum, but not familiar with the bloom. Referred to as a lily, but it is not a Lilium.

Good choice to keep it. It is lovely. I am sure someone will recognize it.

I wondered about that...Is there another forum thread I should post it to? Thanks!

The blossom tells me that it is an amaryllis. I have one like it, but can't remember the name.

Per your question about another forum, you might want to post it in the Amaryllis and Hippeastrum Forum: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/hippeastrums/all/
It's very lovely. Gorgeous color. Sorry I can't help, but best of luck in finding the name.

Thanks guys! I'll do that soon...worn out from painting today. Wouldn't it be cool if you could just wiggle your nose and all the painting and moving would just do itself?

LOL, I would like that nose wiggling thing for a lot of things!
