I just got a box of plants from Bluestone Perennials. (They arrived in excellent condition, and no problems with the new pots for those of you who have been worried). They sent me a free bonus plant- Campanula takesimana 'Bellringers'. I recall planting a similar purple Campanula that was pretty but quite invasive. Does anyone have experience with these? Is it just the creeping rhizomes or does it seed about? If it is just the rhizomes a pot would contain it.
Is Campanua takesimana 'Bellringers' invasive?
It takes a few years for them to get going. If you keep them deadheaded, of course, they don't spread and they continue to put out blooms.
