These were planted in my 2012 trial garden and had great production and good taste even though it was one of the hottest summers. Unlike my main production tomatoes (Big Beef & Early Girl), they were not caged or staked. They were mulched and watered with soaker hoses.
Tappy's Heritage (from Baker Creek)-huge production all year; good taste; blemish free. I highly recommend this one and plan to include it in my production garden in 2013.
Gold Medal--bi-colored and beautiful when sliced.
Black From Tula--This is my favorite "black" (compared to Cherokee Purple & Carbon)
Kellog's Breakfast--still the best taste of the larger yellows.
Mountain Magic--great taste; holds well on vine; size averaged 1.75 oz
Golden Jubilee and Golden Boy (all of the mid-size yellows did well).
Magnum--very large; meaty with small seed cavity; a good canner. The early fruit did not taste that good, but later ones had a good taste.
The following all did well: Juliet, Blond Kopfchen, Ildi, Sugary, Sungold Hybrid, Sweet 100. However,Jolly sprawled badly and the fruit was covered with small brown spotsfrom sun exposure
