2012 Mid-Atlantic Evergreen Azalea of the Year: 'Sandra's Green Ice'
R. 'Elsie Lee' x R. 'Anna Kehr'
Flower pale yellow-green towards base shading to white towards the edges; greenish center ages to white, broadly funnel-shaped, hose-in-hose, about 2" across, wavy edges. Inflorescence is two flowered. Blooms early midseason. Leaves elliptic, acuminate apex, cuneate base, upcurved edges, 1" long, dull, moderate yellow-green. Grows to a height of about 4 ft. in 10 years. Hybridized by Hyatt.

Oh, my! Thank you all so much... what fun to find this thread at the end of a fun day! I appreciate all the lovely flowers, too... and the goose, although I hope to never have a resident flock here. I'll stick with enjoying the ones that fly overhead every evening on their way to the corn field! :-)
