Has anyone had any experience with collecting baptisma seeds and starting new plants from the seed?
Baptisma
Sally is it Baptista! or Baptisma?
I have some Baptista, and a link to it.
Sorry, actually it's baptisia australis (false indigo).
Thats it! Ill get back to you with a link!
Here you go Sally, and Great Site!
http://www.desert-tropicals.com
then type in baptisia australis in the search box, if you click on previous and next species you can see two other kinds. I will be getting a yellow baptisia coming in a trade soon.
Hope it helps. This sit will give you hardiness info as well

Thanks Michele that is a nice link.
Sally:
I've started some False Indigo from seed I had very a low germination rate. I transplanted a couple of plants outside and for 2 years they just kind hung in there not growing much. BUT this year they took off.... the plants are about 4' high and were beautiful, it was worth the wait.
I've got some seeds if your interested.
Paul
Paul, Thanks for the offer. I was asking for a friend. I've checked with her about your offer but she has obtained seeds elsewhere. Thanks for the information though. Sally
