I recently found this huge palm at the local Home Depot and it was labeled as Roystonea oleracea on both the pot and a tag on the branch. I found it hard to believe but bought it anyway since it was fairly cheap and a great looking palm regardless. The entire plant stands about 8 ft high to leaf tip. If not a Roystonea what is it?
Could this be a Roystonea oleracea?
looks like several king palms to me
Thanks Palmbob, I thought maybe but I have several King Palms and it doesn't quite look the same, but I don't know what an immature Roystonea oleracea looks like either.
