want to rent a greenhouse

Provo, UT(Zone 5a)

im not quite ready to put up a greenhouse for my tropicals..
but im going to need one..so.. ??
question..what would a "fair price" be to rent a greenhouse
with hopefully a several year agreement..
im sure depends on area,availability..
im going to pay the heating/cooling costs..
just wondered if anyone else out there has done this??
im thinking a greenhouse around 10 ft X 20 ft.. and good
height 12ft+
thanks hopefully someone out there has some thoughts on this..

i wish i did too anna..:)
hopefully within the next yr i can find someone that doesnt use
all their greenhouse space..or will rent me a good condition
greenhouse at a moderately resonable rate ..
id like to get someone that would do a deal for 2-3 yrs.. not sure
i'll be ready to put up a moderate sized greenhouse before then..
and im not going to wait to grow some of the tropicals i want to
grow..LOL we gardenerns..were so impulsive..:)

When I lived in Missouri, my husband turned half of our basement into a greenhouse by putting up 400 watt halogen lights - worked great!

my house becomes a semi greenhouse late april..getting ready for planting out
of all my projects..:)
with my big amorphophallus titanum.. i need the height.. in a couple
yrs ..if grown well..can be over 15 ft tall..so..
maybe i need an A frame house..??? mmmm LOL :)

Or, just build your Amor. a little lean-to on the south side of your house! I put a lot of my tropicals in an enclosure used for camping - one of those screen tents. I covered it in plastic, placed it under a huge oak tree, on the south side of my house and the plants are doing great. It hasn't been below 40 here yet, though - we'll see what happens when it gets down to 35!

Hi All,
I agree with Kay that you would probably be farther ahead to go ahead and invest in a greenhouse of your own.
You could advertise on Craigs List and maybe find someone who doesn't use their greenhouse anymore.
Maybe you can find a deal.
One thing, be careful about buying too cheap a greenhouse.
Here are a couple of links from this site that might help you investigate a greenhouse.

thanks to all !!
i guess whats preventing me from putting up a greenhouse
this spring..is..im still ok.. "i think" lol. with my plant.. amorphophallus
titanum for maybe 2 seasons.. but after that..im going to need
housing with 14ft + height..
i totally agree lonejack on not going cheap..
i dont want something that only lasts 3 yrs..and doesnt have the
insulation to keep heating costs down..
what im most drawn to are thicker polycarb.. it will be pricey
but what i will probably need..
much thanks to ya all !!!!
