Can these be preserved and used in dried floral arrangements?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Don't think so but you could check with a florist.

i couldnt even take beautyberry cuttings because of how fast they wilted and dried up. the berries start falling off too. maybe i need to take the cuttings in spring
Sounds like the way I do hydrangeas but sometimes I just cut them off and set in vase and they last a long time.
Our chickens and turkey love to eat them too.
Im kinda curious if you can transplant them this time of the year when they are all died back. Ive never been able to move a weed, with any success. Im gunna give it a try, Ive got two nice ones, but the birds planted them in just the wrong place.
Actually they are also edible. Our Native Florida Indians used to eat them all the time and my Grandmother used to incorporate them in her jams on occasion. They are very seedy and a bit of work.
Thats really interesting. I had no idea.
