Can anyone identify a plant that I think is really a weed? They come up everywhere, just like those fool English Laurel volunteers. However, these totally have the look of a rhodie leaf, minus the shine. It's not an unattractive plant, for a weed, and if it'll grow in the shade and my bad soil, I think it's may be welcome.
I know I need a picture, but....
I think it is another type of laurel - another escapee that gets planted by the birds. I have two types of laurel growing in deep shade between me and my neighbor, which I am going to allow to grow for a screen. If they get too invasive, I'll pull the younger ones.
Well, thanks, Bonehead. I think it's kind of cute---and FREE! Let's see what happens.
