We removed these pups from our Sagos almost two years ago. We cut off everything like the experts said and waited for roots. They have behaved precisely as they should until we removed them from the greenhouse....and yes, we hardened off. We don't seem to over water, but they are yellow......help please.
Why turn yellow now?.............
Cycas go through a leaf loss and then get a flush of new leaves. I'd say that's what's happening with yours. Overwatering would be a problem if the potting mix doesn't drain well. I think yours are just jettisoning the old leaves. If the caudex is firm/not soft I wouldn't worry. But you could check the roots anyway.
