OK, I'm new at this, so what in the heck is a Poly???
A daylily normally has 3 petals and 3 sepals for a total of 6. Any bloom that has more than 6 is considered a poly bloom. Sometimes you will have 4 petals and 4 sepals for a total of 8 or 5 and 5 for a total of 10. Sepals are the smaller of the petals.
I love that first poly. It doesnt look like malachite prism tho. MP is so dark down here. Whatever it is, hopefully it will poly alot.
Thanks hemlady for educating me. I think I have read that somewhere, but didn't have a clue at the time.

Nice!!!
Ive never seen a fancy one poly. Thats a treat to see the princess.
Mike, your sure getting alot of non poly's to poly, wish that would happen here.
Gardenglory, Bela Lugosi did it for me last year. This clump is rewarding me for taking 3yrs to bloom. This led me to buy another from Nutsford-Karen. Hers polys also.
I love open hearth. I know its old and 'simple', but I love mine.
It reminds me of Cindys luscious lolipop, only a totally different color. I love that too.

These daylilies are registered tet polymerous daylilies, though OSTERIZED rarely produces poly blooms for me here.
From left to right: OSTERIZED (a little faded in the evening), HIP TO BE SQUARE, and POLLY WOLLY DOODLE.

I forgot to mention that none of these photos were from today, though they were all from this season. OSTERIZED and HIP TO BE SQUARE are still in bloom (both had flowers today but OSTERIZED blooms were all 3 x 3); POLLY WOLLY DOODLE is done (unless I get some late rebloom).

Nice ones!!!
Oh I really like Northern Rose. I got that one this spring but it hasn't bloomed yet.
Hemlady, I got it as a gift plant last year from Mike Grossmann. It didn't bloomed then. Hope you have better luck in your first season with it. As I stated above, both fans sent up two scapes at the same time.

Your noid is very pretty!! I suspect with all the heat we are having that there will be more rebloom this summer.
Any Ideas on the noid??
Mike, your noid reminds me of Mildred Mitchell, though MM has never polyed for us as I know of. Or, maybe a Lambertson?

Casshigh i thought the same thing when i saw it mine is blooming right now i am gonna go take a picture and post it lets look.
