I saw a Tropical bush at Epcot yesterday, that I love but cannot identify. It has many branches coming from the ground. The whole bush is probably 5 feet tall. The leaves are very large and fuzzy, totally round in shape with inner veins that look like a whole oval leaf inside a larger round leaf. The flowers were blue-purple and sort of looked like delphinium (but smaller in size) in that they rose up above the leaves. Anyone?
Help Identifying a plant.
Sounds like Tibouchina grandiflora: http://www.rareflora.com/tibouchinagran.htm
That's IT!!!!! Thanks so much!
You're welcome! It should do well in your area.
I have that. Got it at Butterfly world. Haven't figured out what makes it really happy.

Tropic,
They grow very well here. I am 1/2 hr. from you. They are available near me at Smiths Nursery in Mascotte. I lost mine due to cold one year and it was already up 5 feet. They grow quickly and bloom just beautiful.
