So beautiful as always. S. araneosa looks so soft and adorable, just like a teddy-bear. How fragrant is your Scentimental Journey? I just bought a young plant and can't wait to see the first blooms. The flower color and shape is very nice, I'm so exited about my new treasure!

Well, and as for 'Ozark Scentimental Journey': I haven't been able to detect a scent on this Sinningia but unfortunately, I don't seem to be the only one who can't... :(

Nice pics to come back from a trip and see :) I got an Alsobia from someone but don't know which one I got. Mine has small leaves. Will have to wait for it to bloom and see :) Anticipation....lol!!

If it is a small leaved (about 1/4 to 1/3" normally) Alsobia, it should be A. dianthiflora. In good light, the leaves have darker veins.

A. 'Cygnet' is overall much, much larger than A. dianthiflora. Both grow lots of stolons like Episcias and both make great plants for hanging baskets.

After quite a few trials and tribulations, I finally got these plants to grow reasonably well for me...

Achimenes erecta 'Tiny Red', Sinningia eumorpha "Saltao" (in the background) and Sinningia cardinalis x eumorpha "Saltao"

Nice!! Anxious to see what Donna looks like when she opens. Can't comprehend you having problems with the 3 in the last post as well as you grow plants:)

Well, that's been a combination of neglect and bad placement... The Primulina suffered a lot this year and lost a few leaves but is now alive and kicking and is actually growing relatively fast. :)

This is my strep shelf as of last night... after some cleaning and trimming.

And then close-ups of the left and right sides, respectively.

They are beautiful, Karen! Wow! Well grown and groomed plants. Something that I can't necessarily say about my plants... ;)

1: This is what happens when Pearcea hypocyrtiflora takes over... LOL There are some other plants in there as well but the Pearcea clearly is the winner...

2: Achimenes erecta 'Tiny Red'. I love these little guys. This is an Achimenes that does very well under lights, stays small and makes tons and tons of itty bitty rhizomes.

3: Niphaea oblonga. Nice foliage and easy to grow from rhizomes.

4: Streptocarpus subg. Streptocarpella 'Boysenberry Delight'. The only kind of Streptocarpus that I'm capable of keeping alive in the long run... LOL
