Variegated Carpy

noonamah, Australia

Never imagined I'd see one, but with the number of Carpentaria acuminata I have the Law of Averages means the chance of one coming up was very high. But I've never seen or heard of one before. And there's no guarantee that it'll stay variegated.

Thanks Geoff, it does look nice. It's growing in a shaded spot with plenty of water. Another Carpy near it grew about 3 metres high in 3 to 4 years from a seedling (self sown). So in a couple of years I should have a good idea if this variegation is stable in the plant or just a temporary abberation.
