I'm in zone 9b/10a Florida. One side of my house has shade 3/4 day & it is damp and having soil erosion problem. Looking for a grass that will grow there without the chinch bugs that St. Augustine attracts. Can anyone help me? Thanks
Best shade grass in zone 9 damp Florida?
I just read lots of interesting info on this in a recent post: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1242248/
Hope this helps!
Janet
Not many choices for lawn grass, but you might look into Zoysia. I could be wrong, but I thought I read there is a newer St. Augustine variety that is more chinch bug resistant.
