Gorgeous blooms Helena. I love Mauve Splash because of all the beautiful and different blooms it throws.

I love the Mauve Splash too. one of my favs the year before last..


catching up a bit on the winter inside basement garden.. this was the "tourquoise" bloom I showed this past summer on the arbor, but this is from a seed from that grow out, and it is inside..

Deb, its very pretty. A wonderful shade of blue.

I must say ladies you have some beauties going! Keep it up, even thogh we haven't had a rough winter so far it keeps me hopeful for the summer!

I agree! All that is blooming right now is the red feather and the tourqoise and bluish bloom I showed earlier..

Thanks Jackie and Debra. I noticed that my erythrena tree is sprouting , it's possible for us to have another freeze that can kill it. That will be awful.

Helena, the blue is on the same vine as Mauve Splash? Looks like a Blue Splash, very pretty.

Jackie, those are 2 separate vines. I just placed them together for the picture but the blue did look similar to the mauve splash except for the white center on the blue. I'm going to grow them again this spring.

Getting cool again after a couple of days of warm weather and rain.

I left this vine outside yet it had a bloom this morning at around 52 degrees maybe?
