Greetings, all --
This Fall I moved to a new house / state and I'm eagerly planning for next spring. I've got a great spot at the front of the house for shorter morning glories which will get lots of sunshine except for the first few hours of the morning. Is the lack of early morning sun going to be a problem? Thanks!
BTW, I love looking at all the beautiful pictures on this forum!
Lack of early morning sun a problem?
Thuvia, no it should not be a problem. I get my best, longest lasting blooms on cloudy days. The sunshine burns my blooms up in 2 or 3 hours. So I would say morning shade is fine.

me too. mine bloom all day when it is cloudy, otherwise when the sun comes out the flowers go away
Thanks for the replies -- I thought no morning sun would be ok, but I thought I ought to check before planning a long row of them climbing up the front porch rail!
