Clifton Springs, Australia

It's a wonderful time of year with all those Iris starting to bloom....
So post them here and we can drool over them....

Lovely Jean, your field of Iris must look magnificent.....I am going to have to move some of mine, they are overshadowed by other things now..

Love the Green and Gifted Jean. Beautiful. Colleen

This is my nameless royal blue, which is so reliable.....and so prolific...this pic shows how it grows behind a Crepe Myrtle...I thought that I would have to pull these out, but no, it flowers there anyway...
Probably gets enough sun when the CM drops it's leaves.

I wish I had huge clumps of iris colour.

By the sound of your garden, you soon will have.....some are very fast growers...like the one above...

Looking at your Physique and Pirate Ahoy, Jean, I don't think that there is another flower that runs through the whole colour spectrum like the Iris...From white to black and every colour in between..
They are amazing.

barmera, Australia

Beautiful Jean. I sure love your field of Irises. Colleen

Just imagine a big patch of both Internal Fire and Musician mixed together...how lovely.
I can't recall you posting pics of those two last year, Jean.
Are they new ones?

Jean, I can't put a name on this one..it's not what it was sold to me as....grrrr....It's supposed to be Jurassic Park...

Thanks for the suggestions, but I had to look thru my catalogues.....It's Berry Sherbet...I thought that I knew it....just couldn't remember...
Frustrating when I paid for something completely different....I bought it at a plant fair...oh well..

Very pretty Colleen...have you seen the small one in flower?

Merino, Australia

Dianne, I had Infernal Fire and Musician flower last year , but very poorly.. This is the iris I bought about 4 years ago as Jurassic Park. I got a surprise when it flowered last year with this set of bright colors.
Beautiful flower, but like yours, not right.

It's a conspiracy, Jean....they show but don't sell...LOL...that's very nice though...

I am going to be ruthless this year after flowering. All the noids are going to be taken out , maybe put somewhere around the rest of the garden..
I am going to put in row of dwarf bearded for selling at the trash & treasure.
Heres another pretty noid.

Sounds like a good idea...they sell the tall and the dwarf in flower at my local market at this time of year
for $15 in flower and people wait for them to start selling....good little money maker.

Wedding Vow.
the little tiny insects show up well on the white. They dont do much damage with their teeny tiny mouths.
