Hi Sally, I have 5 dessert roses in the s/h and have for many years. They love it. I haven't lost any to rot ever since I did.

The owner of First Rays today talked about adding magnesium. I have it in my fert, but I think I will add more.

I would love to know anything you can tell me about preparing the rocks,whether to let them stand in water or not,adjusting PH,and so on.

My husband soaked them in Epsom salts. He followed the directions on our pellets from First Rays. No idea about ph, ha. Maybe SallyO knows.
