What is wrong with these tomatoes?

Any ideas about what is wrong with these tomatoes?

I am new to growing vegetables.

Something chewed on them when they were small or otherwise damaged. Shouldn't bother the taste or eating.

Looks like they are cat faced. There are better photos on line. http://learningstore.uwex.edu/assets/pdfs/A3111.PDF

Cat faced happens around the blossom. Not the case here.

Thanks Bernie, I thought I had misread the link. Pig's pictures look pretty good to me. Just wonder what got the first taste? I wish I had some tomatoes to get eaten by anything. Temps supposed to drop next week so maybe I'll get some tomatoes set.

Yes, but catfacing can deform the tomato shape so that it appears more to the side of the tomato. I was noticing the lines extending down in the direction of the blossom end. Here is a better example. http://growyourtomatoes.com/diseases.html
