Did you ever move your containers of producing squash into an unheated greenhouse just before your First frost.
Did it prevent light frost damage? Did they wilt? Did they continue to produce with the help of hand pollination.
I planted some Crookneck in containers and I know i will get at least 4 weeks of production before the first light frost hits.
I was wondering if putting them in the unheated greenhouse before first frost would extend their harvest? or is it a wasted effort?
Fall production of Squash
My only concern would be if the plants get too hot in the GH, but if not too hot, I would think it would be fine and worth the effort.
