Need ID Please

Hi There... I sure hope I am posting this in the right forum.
I got this "bonsai" as a birthday gift. The bottom looks like my Sago's..... However the leaves completely throw me off. The are very thick and feel like cardboard and are very stiff.

I have no idea what it is, as I have never seen one around here. I started in the palm forum simply because the bottom looked like my sago.

It's a Zamia furfuracea, often (wrongly) called Cardboard Palm. It's a cycad and not a plam. As you've noticed, it's more closely related to your Sagos, Cycas revoluta.

They're very commonly grown so now it you keep an eye out for them you might see more.
