My daughter bought a Tuscan Olive Bonsai tree and it doesn't have much in the way of care/instructions. It also lost a lot of its leaves, but seems to have some new shoots. Anyone out there have any experience, tips, ideas?? Thanks!
Any experience with a "Tuscan Olive"?
Gardenfrances,
I have an olive that I have had for a few years and I have been able to keep it to 15". You will have to be brutal when pruning. I prune mine when I put it outside in the spring and again when I take it in during the fall. You can wire it to contort the branches but I found it unnecessary. Mine has never flowered but I am not woried about that.
