My Dad planted two Carpithian Walnuts in 1987 from seed, they have never produced any fruit, can anyone give me a clue as to what I have to do for them to get them to have nuts?
Carpithian Walnuts
First, I don't know anything about carp. walnuts. But, for the people who do, they will ask if the trees have flowering or not. If no flowers, it may still be too young (that's another reason to purchase grafted fruits and nuts). If flowers have occurred, you may have two trees of the same sex. I'd recommend calling a nursery on the "featured companies" list on this site and tell them the answers when they ask and then ask how long a grafted tree from them would take to bear nuts.
If all else fails, maybe a woodworker would like to come cut your trees down for furniture lumber :o)
