On May 26, 2011, a massive storm with 65 mpg winds, golfball sized hail and a couple tornadoes went over Carlisle, my hometown last night. Bob & Fritzie & I hid in the basement, scared and praying. When it was all over, we had very little damage and we thank God for that. We are praying for the people who had damage and hope nobody was seriously hurt. Lived here 32 years North of Carlisle and NEVER had to go to the basement to hide from a tornado. Compared to the Mid West, this was probably mild but glad it's over for the time being and we are praying for those people in Missouri & other states.
May 26, 2011, unforgettable powerful storm in Carlisle, pa
We're glad you are safe too.
and ditto for the many tornado survivors.
glad you're ok... what a scare!
Glad you're safe!
Hubby and friend were driving out to a men's retreat in Lancaster County on the 20th and they saw a tornado forming....they both never saw that before, a little freaked out to say the least
Oh my, that would freak me out, too. Glad they made it safely.
