Late spring woodland

Saint Louis, MO(Zone 6a)

Since it rained all day yesterday, I went through some pictures from the past 2 weeks.
These are all from my shady woodland, blooming now.
Here's thalictrum ichangense Evening Star.
A low-growing thalictrum, not the usual 4-footer.

There may be some of you out there that can relate to this one.
I sometimes can't help myself trying something I know full well isn't going to work.
I'll enjoy this one as an annual, because I doubt it will survive once summer hits.
It's meconopsis x sheldonii.
Supposedly the most heat-tolerant of the blue poppies.
We'll see how he enjoys our summers...

A corydalis - I'm not sure which one.
If anyone recognizes it, I'd appreciate the ID.

Another gallery of amazing plants! Love the Thalictrum. Have the 4-footers but I do like the shorter stature of yours. I hope you'll keep us posted on the Meconopsis. I'm thinking that if it can survive your heat, I might have a chance with it here. Thanks for keeping me inspired!

Weerobin, loved the photos as usual. Very pretty I can see you love it very much as well you should. I will have to post some more photos also. Thanks, Ronna
