My DH & I went yesterday to the local composting area and I found two variegated hosta sitting in the middle of the dirt road, so they came home with me. I also saw two huge clumps of variegated bamboo. These DIDN'T come home with me. LOL. I will keep my eye out in the future for any other freebies that get pitched.

Nifty finds! It would make sense , if you have composting, to offer extra plants there too.
We don't have that in our county.
Well, I think the Hosta were dug up along with other stuff & fell off the truck when somebody was getting rid of their brush. Glad I found them. Will take pix pix.
