Can anyone tell me how to root this? Its sitting in water right now?
tibouchina
Just read on the Net that cuttings can be taken spring, summer, and fall and root in sand or peat/sand mix. Hope this helps.

Thanks but I think I killed them!!!They don't look good.
CC, I'm fixing to (yes, that's correct) start another batch and see if I have more luck. Water doesn't work:) If I get lucky, I'll set you up in the spring.
Cool,I'm sooooo depressed.I love those leaves.
I still have some with live parts, does that mean it rooted??It's almost been a month - ok 3 weeks
I bet so. The ones I tried in water turned brown within a week or so. I started some with rooting compound in soil this time. So far, so good.
crested, i can send you cuttings of tibouchina if youd like when i send your brug cuttings. just let me know if you need some more
