Here's a Sunset article about a display at a recent show in San Luis Obispo. The architect is going to rework the materials and use them for a display at the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show being held the end of March (http://www.sfgardenshow.com/): http://bit.ly/ecGrJM
Pretty cool, isn't it? I can't wait to see what he comes up with!
SF Flower & Garden Show Display
Recycled materials and going green is getting big! It just takes an imaginative person to envision a use of another person's junk.
Since we will be on a limited budget after buying this house, I need to find some good salvage places!
Yes, that's why I put a link to it on my original post.
My Mom & I go every year, liked it better when it was at the Cow Palace, this will be the second year at this new location which is not as large.
And displays get less involved and evolved every year too. This is first year with new owner isn't it? So maybe will be better!
Also many fewer plant sellers. Used to be I would go broke at this show, now not so many different and interesting plants to buy. One year I went 3 days!
