We live in Encino CA which is Sunset Climate Zone 19.
We're seeking an attractive clumping bamboo variety that is 10-20' tall for southern exposure sloped front year that gets direct full sun. It gets quite hot in the summer without risk of frost in the winter. We'd like to use this as a privacy screen midway on the sloped yard for about 25 linear feet. We have considered Weaver's Dwarf (aka RG Dwarf) or Gracilis but open to other suggestions that would thrive in this condition?
