I plan on doing some grafting this winter/spring and would like to try adding some new varieties to existing trees. I wish I had room for whole trees but I don't
If anyone out there would be willing to part with some scion wood for the following apples I'd be willing to trade for perennials?
Queencox
Dayton
Ashmead's Kernel
Belmac
Beni Shogun
also looking for pears
Rescue
Red Clapp's Favorite
Orcas
looking for scion wood for apple and pear
Colchie, In case you do not get much response, you might want to join NAFEX (www.nafex.com) and add yourself to their discussion list. There are many people there obsessed with apples and I'm confident you would find someone willing to share with you. They are an organization with many serious experts and professionals, so can sometimes offer a more in depth knowledge base. Given the time frame for obtaining dormant wood, you might want to pursue both places.
