Terrarium for Drosera

(Ang) Bremerton, WA(Zone 8b)

I have a Lance Leaf and a Spatulata that I want to create a jar terrarium for. I have gravel, rocks, charcoal, sphagnum moss (long fiber), peat moss (no fertilizer) and sand. I have gravel a couple bigger rocks down first, then gravel, then charcoal, and then some moss. Now I'm mixing the sand and peat for a soil. I read somewhere it needs to be on the dry side, would 50/50 work fine for Drosera? Also if I want to put some moss around the plants should I soak it first? If so how long?

PS: Not sealing the top, there will be a vet or a lid off for airflow.

Sorry, I can't help you. I don't grow any CPs in terrariums. Keep an eye on them so they grow mold and/fungus.

I tossed the idea lol. I did some more reading and figured I can use the terrarium supplies for something else.
