Once more I outsmarted myself.
I always check price per weight and the larger package will invariably win out. But sooner or later I will learn. Like today, I was reattaching wooden letters to a sign. I got out the bottle of wood glue I keep stashed in the house (so I can find it when needed). Needless to say, it wouldn't squeeze so I opened it and fished the top 1/3 of congealed glue out of the bottle. The balance that was left was chunky, almost like cottage cheese.
When will I ever learn? I need to replace that large bottle of glue with a small one. Although I will pay more in price per volume, I believe it will be cheaper in the long run as I will waste less.
Does anyone else run into similar problems?
