My house sits on shale, and every time I turn a bed, plant a bush-- even mow the grass, I dig up stones. Some are large enough to build dry stack walls, but most are too small (maybe 5" by 8" roughly, or smaller.) After several years I have piles of these stones hiding in the back of my yard. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I might do with them?
