Corina lily ?

Mentor, OH

Given my history of receiving mislabeled mailorder bulbs, I can never be certain of what I have. These are supposed to be Corina lilies but I was under the impression that they were supposed to be all red. Anyone know?

I don't know but wanted to reassure you that I've received many mislabeled packages of lilies so it's not a rare thing to happen.

It's why I have grown them in pots for the first year for awhile now, just to be sure of color and height along with bloom time.

You should contact the vendor for clarification.

I was thinking maybe Royal Sunset. That is sold by a lot of the Dutch growers.

Thanks for all the responses. I have to say they all look alike! Did we all buy from the same vendor? lol Doesn't really matter, I've NEVER seen an "ugly" flower.

That's a good attitude to have. It's pretty and I like it, regardless of the name.

If you buy from one of the lily growers you should get correctly named lilies, although everyone makes a mistake now and then. So go for a pretty red from Faraway Flowers, The Lily Garden, B and D, etc. and love the no ID one you have.
