Question about Palmetto

Can someone tell me if Palmettos make seed? If so where and when can you find them. I need info on how to propagate them.

they make seed regularly, if they are mature... collect, plant... that is about all there is to it

What do the seeds look like?

The vary in size from smaller than a pea, to some species pea sized or a bit bigger... on tree they are in fruits that are generally black to bluish (green when unripe).

Will they make seed regularly throughout the summer?

that I don't know... I don't live in the southeast where these are super common... here in California these are super slow and fairly rare plants

Where are the seeds located? I have never known of a Palmetto to produce fruit or seeds.

near the crown, though some have long branching strands of fruits that extend down below the leaves
