I was out in the greenhouse, spraying some chelated palm nutritional on some deserving hungry plants, when I noticed something I had not ever noticed before....
I have a few Caryota gigas palms that are getting pretty tall, grew them from seedlings. One has started to show variegation. Its only well expressed on one leaf blade of one frond right now. The plant has 3 fronds. There is a some very faint variegation on the other leaf blades of this particular frond but so light you'd miss it unless you were looking hard.
Do you think it may be a fluke, or might it come out more later on new growth??
just found variegation!
looks like real variegation... just gonna have to wait
Hey now, that's exciting!
