I'm looking for a vendor of Hokowase strawberries. They are an old Japanese cultivar that is very low in acid. They seem be be quite popular in Australia, but I can't find a vendor in the US. The germplasm is available from the USDA (http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/acc/search.pl?accid=%20PI+617007) but they only give out material for research, so it seems.
Perhaps, someone may know of a similar variety that is also very low in acid.
