variegated rhapis palms

Abbeville, LA

I'm suprised that there are no comments concerning variegated Rhapis palms. They are a hobby unto themselves!

indeed... but no comments come to mind right now. Just wish I had more.

I would love to have some of those.

Don't see many variegated Licualas. That would be worth commenting on also.

I have about 6 variegated Rhapis palms. They are my favorites. Three were named, the rest were just lucky mystery acquisitions. They have all started to pup and are growing into small clumps now. Its very exciting.

I haven't seen variegated ones, only heard about them. All my Rhapis are plain green.

This is Nanzan nishiki. I have moved it a few times and it hasn't been too fazed. For some reason its more slow growing than the others

This one is an unknown cultivar. It and the next one showed up a year or so ago at a local plant sale, pretty cheap

This one is called Koban nishiki. Its not actually variegated, but if grown in very high light it gets a kind of silvery coloration on the new fronds. Mine is not in high light, its pretty shaded by the Salacca magnifica
