Overwelmed

cambridge md, MD(Zone 7a)

This past week end I started a new bed where my willow was uprooted over the winter, but in order to have a flower bed there I had to dig quite few hundred (no Kidding) of white daffodil and narcissus, I am not even sure which are which anymore. Anyone interested in any of the bulbs let me know I will be more than glad to part with them all... Also I have some resurrection lilies and some black eyed Susan and tall asters if anyone is interested in any of those plants please let me know.

You going to the swap at Becky's??? I'm sure they will take them off your hands.

yes, yes, you have to come to the spring swap!

BTW, both your viburnum and your japonica are blooming their heads off this year... they've grown into quite respectable bushes from the nice rooted starts you gave me!

bumping and asking- what are resurrection lilies?

There the naked ladies that have leaves in spring, then flowers in summer.

I always have a hard time figuring out which plant people mean... there's the Amaryllis species http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2377/ (probably not hardy for me even in a protected spot) and then there's the Lycoris species http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/517/, which is hardy here.

Chris,
I wanted to thank you (belatedly) for the daffodils, narcissus, resurrection lilies and the wonderful columbines you bestowed upon me. The real treat was getting to see a beautiful collection of gardens in a yard where lawn is simply a path between plantings. Nice to have made your acquaintance, and thanks again.
