I am so relieved. I have been waiting and waiting to see if it showed any delayed cold damage. I was so concerned because for the first time ever, I had damage to plants in the greenhouse, especially along the walls, from the 13 day deep freeze we had here in Florida this last winter. There was a very large Jungle Drum (about 4 ft tall with a 4 ft spread) planted next to this palm that simply died. So I was on pins and needles! But the mapu made it!
Congratulations on the survival. L. mapu is one of my must-gets. That and Johannesteijsmannia magnifica. I have several Licualas and J. altifrons already.
