Did y'all see this?
I posted this response on a similar thread in general discussion forum:
"It seems odd to me that Dave, who generally doesn't like to deal in rumor & speculation, would make such an announcement pseudo-privately rather than posting on the DG forum or putting a "Dave News" bulletin on our home page.
I think I'd rather believe somebody hacked the Dmail system... put me in the "hope this isn't really happening" camp.
Dave does so much to set the tone for DG as well as giving us all sorts of useful tools and additions. GW is right, it wouldn't be DG without him."
I just sent off a Dmail to admin to see if they can confirm/deny.
Whoa, That doesn't sound good. Not even staying as adm. how sad.Just think of all the work he has put into DG. Not just the work but he has put so much of his self into it.
I got a note back from Dave saying the rumors are true, but he didn't give any more information.
:-(
Bec, might want to change the url in your top post to this one, which is at least not speculation. Sounds like Dave will be sticking around at least in some capacity.
