You asked long ago "how do I keep my seedlings alive?"
I do my seeds indoors. They come out some time in May if the weather is right and they are strong enough. The hoop house gives me a month or more of an early start!!
I do not heat the hoop house except from the sun.
I put it on my driveway whose cement holds heat and actually gives it back at night.
