I'm interested in planting a few outdoors but just not sure when is the right time of year to do so. Any mid-Atlantic DGers have success growing c&s outdoors here? Thanks for any tips!
Cacti and succulents
gee--the onlything I have is prickly pears that were panted in spring but probably aren't fussy. I have one household succulent, (Graptopetalum??) that did survive the winter, up against the house on the south. I'd have to say you probably wait till spring tho. I have found some neat websites that grow them and give advice.
I'm pretty sure that Chantel grows succulents outside. Maybe she'll see this post and jump in. I've been wanting to start one of those hens and chicks seats. Oh, Eastrailrider grows them. She ran a co-op for them this spring.
Thanks sally and stormy!
