Keats 'To Autumn' and indeed it is the Autumn equinox today 23rd September, how appropriate!
Foxes round here are keeping quiet right now there is still much food about but soon there won't be. Now the Red Deer are more evident in the fields and I saw some fallow in the forest the other week.
I hope it's not a bad winter for the animals here. I can just imagine that my newly planted beds might look sort of inviting!! Keats!! Thanks - yes Wordsworth was spring wasn't he - Daffodils - I wandered lonely as a cloud....... On a down note - saw the body of a deer on the road near us - I will NEVER get used to this!! It happens so often!
