Suggestions needed on best place to plant oriental lilies

I have purchased some oriental lilies and was wondering where to plant them. They are really beautiful in bloom, and I would like to use them as a centerpiece. I was thinking of planting them between shrubs or on their own. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.---IrishLass
