Jasmine, help with propagating

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I have tried to root Maid of Orleans and Confederate jasmine several times. I've been trying to root tip cuttings. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to take older growth? Layering? I haven't had any success so any help will be appreciated.

I got one rooted jasmine cutting from GB but it hasn't grown... Or just a little bit and it have been in the pot about 3 months now.,..

I rooted a jasmine too; after 3 unsuccessful attempts. It also isn't doing much after 3 months (odd that we took cuttings at the same time evert)...hasn't grown, but then again it isn't dead! So, my advice would be to give it time...or search the web. I'm not impaitent with my cuttings, but I can understand where you're coming from Cala.

I have been told that jasmine ca take up to a year to root. I would council patience.

Patience is NOT my strong point, lol. OK, I will give it more time.
