Hello,
In starting my rock/cacti garden I can acquire a large Yucca ( 5 foot) from a neighbor and plan to transplant it successfully. I would appreciate any and all advice as to time and methods.

Transplanting a "Tree" Yucca in northern New Mexico
Have you asked over in Cacti and Succulents? They probably have more experience with big yuccas. I only have small yuccas and the only transplanting I have done is from pot to garden.
